Dosage:

First Time Use: 

We recommend starting with a low dose of 100-200mg. Because of the herb’s light and fluffy texture, a small pinch can go a long way. Increase the dosage as you become more familiar with the product, but we recommend starting small to gauge its effects on your body. 

This herb can be chewed, brewed into a tea, or used as part of a smoking mix. The soft and fluffy texture of Zen Raw Herb allows it to mix easily into various forms. Please note it has a naturally earthy, slightly bitter taste due to its high alkaloid content.

Best Effects:

For optimal results, use 300-1000 mg daily, divided into 1–3 doses. As you grow accustomed to this product, you may increase the dosage to suit your personal needs, however we recommend avoiding exceeding 5 grams per day.

Side Effects:

Side effects with Kanna are rare and usually related to dosage size. If you experience nausea, dizziness, or mild headaches, reduce the amount you are using until the side effects subside. In most cases, these effects are mild and dissipate as the body processes Kanna’s alkaloids.

Kanna in any form should not be combined with full doses of SSRIs or MAOIs due to the potential risk of serotonin syndrome. If you are in the process of tapering off these medications, it is advisable to do so under the guidance of a healthcare provider. We also suggest using standardized extracts in such instances for consistency.
